Erasmus+ program for individual mobility of teaching staff

Through the Erasmus+ program for individual mobility of teaching staff, in the period 24 – 29. 03. 2025, Prof. d-r. Biljana Korunoska, from UKIM Institute of Agriculture – Skopje, completed a study visit at the Institute of Viticulture and Enology, at BOKU University, Vienna, R. Austria.

During this stay, she gave several lectures in the field of viticulture and enology, and also held a short seminar in which she presented Macedonian аutochthonous grape varieties and Macedonian wines related to Macedonian tradition and culture. As part of this visit, several wine regions and several wineries were visited where mostly local Austrian wines and wines from the Italian Riesling and Pinot Grigio lines were tasted.

At the institute, Prof. Korunoska visited the laboratories and greenhouses for in vitro propagation of grapevines and several working meetings were held in which expert opinions, innovative ideas and experiences were exchanged as a start for further successful scientific cooperation between the two institutes.
