Dr. Lazo Dimitrov,PhD, graduated in 1999 at Faculty of Agriculture in Skopje, and received his master's degree at the same faculty in 2009 on the topic: "Impact of credit policy on commercialization and specialization of individual agricultural holdings in the Republic of Macedonia". He received his doctorate in 2023 at the Faculty of Economics in Skopje on the subject entitled: "Impact of international markets on prices of agricultural food products in the Republic of Macedonia". Since 2013, he has been employed at the Institute of Agriculture in Skopje, as an assistant in the Department of Agribusiness, Economics and rural development. After obtaining his doctorate in 2023, he was selected as a research associate. In the period from 2019 to 2023, he was the head of the Department for Agribusiness, Economics and rural development.

Carries out scientific research in the fields of agroeconomy and rural development.
