D-r Emilija Simeonovska

Full professor

Prof. Emilia Simeonovska PhD, graduated in 1993 at the Faculty of Agriculture in Skopje, where she received her master's degree in 1997, on the topic: "Inheritance of some quantitative properties in wheat hybrids (Triticum aestivum ssp. vulgare)". She received her doctorate in 2008 at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food, Skopje, on the subject entitled: "Effects of the treatment with gamma rays in some Macedonian varieties and lines of soft wheat (Triticum aestivum ssp. aestivum)". Since 1998, after her master's degree, she has been employed at the Institute of Agriculture in Skopje, as an assistant in the Cereal Crops Department. After getting her doctorate, in 2009 she was chosen as a research associate in the same department. In 2014, she was elected as an associate professor, and in 2019, as a full professor in the Field Crops Department of the Institute of Agriculture in Skopje.

Today prof. Simeonovska is a full professor in the Department of Field Crop.

Carries out scientific research in the fields of cereal crops (general aspects of production, seed production, genetic resources), breeding and varietal study of wheat and rice (yield and quality properties).

Тeaches the second cycle of studies in the subject Organic and Biodynamic production of Field Crops.
