Prof. Ana T. Selamovska PhD, graduated in 1988 at the Faculty of Agriculture in Skopje and was awarded as the best student, and she received her master's degree in 1994, on the topic: "Development of reproductive organs in some varieties of almonds in the conditions of Skopje". She received her doctorate in 2006 at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in Skopje on a topic entitled: "Modified modes of production of plant material in strawberry and organogenesis of reproductive organs". Since 1998 is employed at the Institute of Agriculture in Skopje, as assistant and manager in the department of strawberry fruit, Department of Fruit Growing. After getting her doctorate in 2006, she was chosen as an assistant professor. In 2011, she was elected associate professor, and in 2017 full professor.

Today prof. Selamovska is a full professor in the Department of Fruit Growing.

Carries out scientific research in the fields of genetics and breeding of fruit species, Techniques in Pomology, Genetic resources from fruit crops, organic production of fruit crops, propagation of plant material.

Тeaches the second cycle of studies in the subject Organic and biodynamic production of fruit crops.
