Biljana Drvoshanova PhD, graduated at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in Skopje in 2009, in horticulture, where she obtained her master's degree on the subject: "Grafting – promising (perspective) way of vegetable seedlings production " in 2012. In 2023, she received her doctorate at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in Skopje, on the topic: "Evaluation of the genetic diversity of the local pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) from the Republic of North Macedonia". In 2013, she became part of the Agricultural Institute in Skopje, where she was selected as a junior assistant in the Field of Vegetable crops production. After getting her doctorate in 2023, she was chosen as a research associate and Head of the Department of Vegetable Crops.
Today she is a research associate in the Department of Vegetable Crops.
Carries out scientific research in the fields of: vegetable production (seedling production, sustainable practices), plant genetic resources and adaptation of agriculture to climate change.
