Prof. Slobodan Bandzo PhD, graduated in 1981 at the Faculty of Agriculture in Skopje and he received his master's degree at the Faculty of Agriculture in 1989, on the topic: "Harmful entomofauna of oilseed rape in Macedonia with special reference to Meligethes aeneus Fabr.".

He received his doctorate in 1999 at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in Skopje on the subject entitled: "Almond weevil (Eurytoma amygdali End.) biology and distribution in Macedonia with special reference to the sensitivity of varieties".

Since 1985, he is employed at the Institute of Agriculture in Skopje, as a junior assistant in the Department of Plant Protection, Section of Entomology. After his master's degree in 1989, he was selected as an assistant, and after obtaining his doctorate in 1999, he was selected as an assistant professor. In 2004 was elected as an associate professor, and in 2009, as a full professor. In the period from 2002 to 2007 was the director of the Institute of Agriculture - Skopje and from 2008 to 2019 he was the Head of the Plant Protection Department.

Today prof. Bandzo is a full professor in the Department of Plant Protection.

Carries out scientific research in the field of of entomology. He teaches the second cycle of studies in the subject Plant protection in organic and biodynamic production.
