D-r Hristina Poposka

Senior research associate

Dr. Hristina Poposka graduated in 2005 at the Faculty of Agriculture Sciences and Food in Skopje and she received her master's degree at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food, Skopje in 2011, on the topic "Impact of foliar fertilization on the yield and quality of corn in the Skopje region". She received her doctorate in 2016 at the same Faculty, on the subject entitled "Impact of foliar fertilization on yield and quality of grapevine varieties - cardinal and afus ali". Since 2011, she is employed at the Institute of Agriculture in Skopje, as a junior assistant at the Department of Pedology and Agrochemistry. After her master's degree in 2014 was selected as an assistant, and after her doctorate in 2016, she was selected as a research associate. In 2021 was selected as a senior research associate. In the period from 2018 to 2022 she was the Head of the Laboratory for the control of soil, fertilizers and plant material, and from December 2022 is the Head of the Department of Pedology and Plant Nutrition.

Today she is a senior research associate in the Department of Pedology and Plant Nutrition.

Carries out scientific research in the fields of: soil fertility, plant nutrition, plant physiology, fertilizers and fertilization, soil degradation, climate change and their impact on soil and plants, etc.

Тeaches the second cycle of studies in the following subjects: Land fertility and fertilization in organic production, Climatic variability and vulnerability of organic production, Sustainable management of soil resources and Terroir and microclimatic conditions in wine production.
