Prof. Juliana Cvetkovic PhD, graduated in 1981 from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Skopje, and received her master's degree at the same faculty in 1997, on the topic: Spectroscopic examination of the manifestations of hydrogen bonding in isomorphic, i.e. isostructural crystal hydrates. She received her doctorate in 2002 at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Skopje on the subject entitled: Development and modification of methods for the determination of heavy metals in wines by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry. Since 1984 is employed at the Institute of Fruit Growing as an expert associate, and since 1997 at the Agricultural Institute in Skopje, as an assistant in the Plant Protection Department. After getting her doctorate in 2002, she was chosen as a research associate. In 2007, she was elected as an associate professor, and in 2012, as a full professor. In the period from 2007 to 2020 was the head of the Education and Science Department of the Institute. Since 2020, she has been elected as the head of the Plant Protection Department.
Today prof. Cvetkovic is a full professor in the Department of Plant Protection.
Carries out scientific research in the fields of analytical chemistry, food safety, and protection of the human environment.
