D-r Katerina Bandzo Oreshkovich

Senior research associate

Dr. Katerina Banjo Oreshkovic graduated in 2007 at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in Skopje, she received her master's degree at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in 2010, on the topic: "Cherry fly (Rhagoletis cerasi L.) and the influence of some characteristics of cherry varieties on the percentage of fruit infection". She received her doctorate in 2015 at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in Skopje on the topic entitled: "Molecular characterization of CMV, AAMV and PVY in pepper grown outdoors in R. Macedonia". Since 2011, she is employed at the Institute of Agriculture in Skopje, as a junior assistant in the Plant Protection Department. In 2014 was selected as an assistant, and after her doctorate in 2015, she was selected as a research associate. In 2020 was selected as a senior research associate.

Today she is a senior research associate in the Department of Plant Protection.

Carries out scientific research in the fields of phytopathology and virology.

Тeaches the second cycle of studies in the following subjects: Plant Protection in Organic and Biodynamic Production, Climatic Variability and Vulnerability of Organic Production and Quarantine Diseases and Pests in Organic Production.
