Marija Djosheva Kovacevic PhD, graduated in 1999 at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in Skopje, and she received her master's degree at the same Faculty in 2012, on the topic: "Analysis of the success in the operations of apple producers in the Pelagonian region". She received her doctorate in February 2021 at the Institute for Sociological and Political-Legal Research in Skopje on the topic entitled: "Management of resources and their impact on the socioeconomic situation of rural households in the Republic of Macedonia - a case study in the Polog and Pelagonia Regions in the Republic of Macedonia". In 2021 she is employed at the Institute of Agriculture - Skopje as a research assistant. After obtaining her doctorate, in December of the same year she was elected to the position of research associate at the Institute of Agriculture - Skopje in the scientific area of agricultural economics and development. From February, 2022 she is the Head of the Department for Agribusiness, Economy and Rural Development at the Institute of Agriculture - Skopje.

Today she is a research associate in the Department of Agribusiness, Economics and Rural Development.

Carries out scientific research in the fields of agroeconomy and rural development.
